QF 2022 year in review
Wow! What a year! Qualifast has been around for some time, and 2022 marks several remarkable milestones in our evolution as a business.
Throughout the past 12 months, we did yet again plenty of "I have been doing this project for years and still I am far from delivery. I've heard that Qualifast can help, will you?" Nearly 100 entrepreneurs have contacted us and we heard at least as many new product ideas!
This new level of maturity required us to improve our internal processes and programs, thus leading to significantly higher team satisfaction.
Another notable transformation was the start of our own internship program which led to 2 more successful hires for the Qualifast team.
Let’s take a closer look at what happened to us in the past 365 days without further ado.
Qualifast employed 8 persons on average, and at the end of the year our incredible crew has grown by 60%.
We did 68 feature releases spanning 12 different projects. This is more than 10 releases per single person, almost a man month per release, an achievement that proves our fast execution and efficiency when it comes to teamwork.
Luckily, Bulgaria has some of the best mobile app companies to hire. And Qualifast is on top of them according to The Manifest.
We’re truly honored to receive this recognition, as it validates the hard work and commitment we put into every single project we tackle. We extend our gratitude to our clients for their continued support and the opportunity to work with them.
And that’s not all. Here are some more accomplishments from the past year that we are really glad to share:
Supporting the next generation of developers is valuable to our company mission.
For the first year, we were honored to share that we established and ran a complete internship program. We’ve designed the program in such a way that the onboarded young fellas would learn from the know-how of the entire team and turn them into the full-stack developers of tomorrow.
Of course, we stick to many traditions as well- like supporting the GDG Sofia community and DevFest Bulgaria - a community-run, one-day virtual conference aimed to bring developers, students, tech companies, and fantastic speakers together, so they can learn about established or emerging technologies.
Qualifast supported various other dev events and job fairs, including Tuk-tam kosher, FMI career forum, and Dev.bg’s All in One Conference. Of course, our participation was not passive, so we got a chance to share our knowledge and expertise with young and ambitious talents who see their future in the tech startup industry.
One of the other events that our team attended was the first INSAIT conference on Emerging Trends in AI and Computing Research organized in Bulgaria by the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology. We also couldn’t skip what's been cooking lately around QA, so we just had to join the QA Challenge Accepted, the annual international conference for software testing and quality assurance as well.
